Sony now requires you to "register" an account before you download the trial from their website. I've tested this and simply registering an account with a spam email and fake information will suffice. The patch still works nonetheless.

Important Notice: There are no "surveys", "passwords", or "viruses" in the above download. Patches are commonly read as false positives on certain virus scanners due to their program's nature. Some virus scanners red flag it because it basically hacks Sony Vegas for you, for lack of a better description. Simply click the link that says "Click here to start download from sendspace" to begin downloading! I recommend you have the Adblock browser extension enabled before visiting the site. The patch was moved from Mediafire (as shown in the video) to SendSpace because it was taken down from Mediafire due to their policy. Additionally, the patch plays some funky music when opened. You might want to mute your sound or wear headphones!
